Why you need a Aeration system?
Eutrophication happens when there are too many animals/plants/algaes around the pool or the chemical pollution occurs, such as pesticides, herbicides. And that is the reason of algae blooming/fish kills/awful odor/muck accumulation/turbid water body.
To solve that, the key point is increasing the aerobic bacteria by more dissolved oxygen. To help the degradation of the organics. And provide more oxygen to help the fish breath.
A pond aeration system would also “turn the pond over”, make sure the bottom would get aerated (in the natrual way, the oxygen level would goes down very quickly from the water surface to the bottom), such fishs and plants that live near the bottom would get a better environment.

Safety Precautions
• Keep the compressor ventilated, cool and dry. The ambient temperature should not exceed 105°F（40°C）. It would hurt the performance and the life time of the unit.
If you use a DIY closed cabinet and housing for this unit. You should open at least two 6”-10” holes on two sides of the pump fans, and install a 6” 20W cooling fan towards to the center of the pump, where the motor stay.

For longer distance airline system:
It would increase 0.17-0.2 bar (2.5-3 PSI) for each 100′ air line (no matter which air way), that means the max depth would diminsh 5.5-6.5 ft. If you add one more air way, please use the same calculation. The total air flow rate would not change.
Deper Location of the diffuser system would charge more current. The max current is 4.8 Amps.
